If you want to use voice chat from your phone, running /voz also shows an option to get a QR code (or use /audioqrcode directly). Scan it with your phone to open the voice chat; the audio will come out of your phone.
The chat is proximity-based: you only hear, and are heard by, the players close to you in the world. The maximum hearing range is 48 blocks, and the farther away you are, the lower the volume gets.
It's perfect for talking with your clan at the base, coordinating a fight, or just chatting with whoever is next to you.
Every so often the server reminds you in chat that voice chat is available. You don't need Discord to use it.
