01 I can't connect or it says “incompatible version” If you play on Java , join with play.

If you play on Java, join with play.minespain.es and, if you can choose, use 1.21.x. Survival runs on 1.21.11 and the proxy translates more versions, but 1.21.x is the recommended option if you get a version error.

If you play on Bedrock/mobile/console, use the same IP and port 19132 — more details in Playing on Bedrock.

The server is offline-mode: no premium account needed. The first time, you'll be asked to register through the login screen that appears on its own (Java only: on Bedrock you join straight away with your Xbox account).

Java — recommended 1.21.xplay.minespain.es25565

02 I can't see the custom textures or icons MineSpain uses its own resource pack for the custom items, mobs and menus (fish, crops, heads, 3D models...

MineSpain uses its own resource pack for the custom items, mobs and menus (fish, crops, heads, 3D models...). To see them you have to accept the resource pack the server offers you when you join.

If you clicked “No” or you're seeing purple cubes or broken icons, log out, rejoin and accept the download when prompted. Also make sure you don't have a resource pack of your own forced on top.

It's best to keep the server packs option enabled in your Minecraft settings so it always loads automatically.

03 My skin won't change Changing your skin is only available to verified players.

Changing your skin is only available to verified players. To unlock it:

  1. Type /discord link in-game and copy the 6-character code.
  2. In the MineSpain Discord, type !link CODIGO (the code expires after 5 minutes).

Once verified, use /skin set <nombre> to wear any player's skin, or /skin set url <url> for an image of your own. /skinsmenu opens the gallery.

There's a 30-second cooldown between skin changes. If your skin doesn't update after changing it on Mojang, try /skin update.

04 Why isn't my job paying me? There's a global cap of $50,000/hour on job earnings (all jobs combined).

There's a global cap of $50,000/hour on job earnings (all jobs combined). When you hit it you get a warning and stop earning until the counter resets (every hour).

On top of that, certain actions deliberately don't pay:

  • Freshly placed blocks: if you break a block you placed yourself less than 15 minutes ago, it doesn't pay (prevents the place-and-break trick).
  • Flying: moving with /fly or with an elytra no longer pays the Explorador (explorer) job (chunks discovered while flying don't count).
  • Automatic farms and machines: piston or observer harvesters, stone/obsidian generators and hopper-filled potions don't pay. Only the manual action pays.
  • Unripe crops or unprocessed blocks (raw stone, unworked wood) don't generate income either.

Having lots of jobs active reduces your pay: −5% per extra job. With all 12 active you earn 45% of the normal amount in each one. XP doesn't suffer that penalty.

05 I'm getting lag or stutters To keep performance up, the server limits certain actions that generate load (number of active blocks per chunk, heavy redstone, massive mob counts).

To keep performance up, the server limits certain actions that generate load (number of active blocks per chunk, heavy redstone, massive mob counts). That's normal and it keeps the world smooth for everyone.

If you're going to be away, use the server's AFK zones instead of leaving your character standing at your base: they unload your area and reduce overall lag.

If the stutter is only on your end, lower your render and simulation distance in the video settings, and check your connection before reporting it.

06 I've been griefed If your base wasn't protected with /protecciones, the grief is not reportable and the staff can't take action or return what you lost.

If your base wasn't protected with /protecciones, the grief is not reportable and the staff can't take action or return what you lost. It's every player's responsibility to protect their area.

Protect your base as soon as you have one with /protecciones. If a protected area has been breached, then you can report it with /report <jugador> <motivo> or by opening a ticket on the Discord.

For safe trades, always use /trade. Hand-to-hand scams are at your own risk and aren't punishable either.

07 How do I get started? As soon as you join Survival you appear at the spawn .

As soon as you join Survival you appear at the spawn. The best first step is to talk (right-click) to the Misiones (Quests) NPC: he starts the tutorial quest chain that guides you step by step (chopping wood, mining coal and iron, crafting armor...) and rewards you at every stage.

After that, type /tutorial to see all the mechanics at a glance, and /reglas to learn the rules. You're already in all 12 jobs, so you earn money just by playing (check them with /trabajos), and protect your base with /protecciones as soon as you have one.

Link your Discord with /discord link and vote with /vote from day one: each vote gives $1,000 and a crate key.
