Useful commands

The ones you'll probably use in-game.

The server shop — /shop

/shop opens the official shop, with 12 categories and over 950 items. Sell what you farm and buy whatever you're missing. It's the most direct way to make money, and there's no hourly cap.

Some materials (raw iron and raw gold, their ores, and raw copper) can only be sold, not bought, to prevent smelting loops that would break the economy.

Reference sell prices (per unit):

MaterialSell price
Netherite block$4,950
Diamond block$630
Netherite (ingot)$550
Diamond$70
Emerald$45
Phantom membrane$12
Iron (ingot)$8
Ender pearl$8
Gold (ingot)$7
Rotten flesh$5
Sugar cane$3
Wheat$2.50

The player auction house — /ah

/ah opens the auction house, where players sell items to each other. It's the channel for rare, enchanted or fishing items — anything that isn't in the official shop.

Items you list expire after 7 days if they don't sell; you can recover them from the expired tab. How many items you can have listed at once depends on your rank:

Diamond rank5

Setting up your own chest shop

Any player can set up a shop by placing a chest and putting a price on it. Other players buy or sell by interacting directly with the chest, even while you're offline.

How to set one up:

  1. Place a chest on your plot or in your protected area.
  2. Look at the chest and create the shop, choosing whether you're buying or selling and at what price.
  3. Fill the chest with stock (to sell) or leave room in it (to buy).

Conditions:

  • Creating a shop costs $500.
  • Every sale pays a 3% tax on the price, deducted from the seller.
  • There's no cost for keeping the shop open.

Chest shops work great in your protected area or in your clan's market. Protect the area first so nobody can break your chests.

Trading with the spawn NPCs

At spawn there are characters you can trade with by right-clicking: each one opens a trade menu with gear and items you won't find in the regular shop, usually in exchange for emeralds or resources. Use /tradeos to jump straight to each one.

CharacterWhat they offer
ThorgarEnchanted books (vanilla and custom), in exchange for emeralds
FeroxDiamond and netherite armor, enchanted versions too
FreyaTools: diamond and netherite pickaxe, axe and shovel
LolaReady-made potions of every effect (splash and extended)
Bromnar and ZarekSculk economy: they swap Sculk remains for Sculk Coins and coins for enchanted books (see below)

The Sculk economy of the Deeplands

The Deeplands have their own currency, the Sculk Coin, earned by hunting Sculk creatures and spent on enchanted books beyond the normal cap. The Echo Mine is also a progressive source of Sculk materials.

How to get Sculk Coins:

  1. Kill Sculk creatures and collect one of five remains: Sculk Tooth, Spike, Bone, Eye or Throat.
  2. Trade 10 matching remains → 1 Sculk Flesh with Zarek.
  3. Turn 3 Sculk Flesh → 2 Sculk Coins.

Other materials: 1 Heart + 1 Tendril → 1 Sculk Soul, and 4 Sculk Flesh → 1 Echo Plating. When Némoth is defeated in the Echo Mine, every participant still on the boss floor also receives 2 Sculk Souls.

What to spend it on — Bromnar, the Deeplands Merchant:

  • 16 Sculk Coins → 1 enchanted book: there are 12 Deeplands over-max enchants.
  • Each dimension sells one fixed tier; these books have no cooldown or combining system.

Direct trades with another player

If you want to close a deal face to face with someone online, use /trade <jugador>: a window opens where you both put in items or money and confirm. It's the safe way to trade with no risk of getting scammed.
