public/wiki-media/deeplands.png Deeplands is a high-level custom world designed as an end-game zone. It's not a starter world: you can only enter if you have rank MercenarioIII or higher.
You reach it from the /mundos menu → Custom Worlds section. Once inside, everything revolves around a unique character: the Deeplands Merchant.
You need rank MercenarioIII+ to enter. If you don't have it yet, check how to rank up before coming.
The Deeplands Merchant is a trader villager (Shopkeeper) who lives in this dimension. He is the only source of the over-max enchantments on the whole server: books with levels above the cap Minecraft normally allows.
He sells 12 over-max books and charges for them in Sculk Coin, the local currency. You won't find them anywhere else: not the enchanting table, not librarians, and not loot will give these levels.
If you want to wear Protection VI or Sharpness VII, the Merchant is your only path.
These are the 12 enchantments the Merchant sells, with their over-max level and the cap you'd reach through normal means (vanilla):
| Enchantment | Level | Normal vanilla |
|---|---|---|
| Protection | VI | IV |
| Fire Protection | VI | IV |
| Feather Falling | VI | IV |
| Blast Protection | VI | IV |
| Projectile Protection | VI | IV |
| Sharpness | VII | V |
| Smite | VII | V |
| Power | VII | V |
| Efficiency | VII | V |
| Fortune | V | III |
| Looting | V | III |
| Unbreaking | V | III |
Over-max books are applied at the anvil, just like any other book: you put in your gear and the Merchant's book, and the over-max transfers to the piece.
The key rule is this: the anvil lets you apply and repair the over-max level that comes in the book, but never raise the level by combining two items. In other words, combining two Sharpness V at the anvil will still give you Sharpness V, as always.
The only way to have an over-max level is by buying the book from the Merchant. There's no way to "create" one by combining items at the anvil.
Neither the normal enchanting table nor librarians can give you over-max levels: at most they reach the vanilla cap (Protection IV, Sharpness V, Fortune III...).
Over-max is 100% exclusive to the Deeplands Merchant. That's why this dimension is an end-game destination: you come for the books that exist nowhere else.
These books are the server's defensive and offensive ceiling. With them you can gear up beyond the usual:
- Armor with Protection VI (better defense than the usual IV cap).
- Boots with Feather Falling VI.
- Specific VI protections against fire, blasts and projectiles.
- Tools and weapons with Sharpness VII, Smite VII, Power VII, Efficiency VII, and Fortune V, Looting V, Unbreaking V.
It's the strongest gear you can aim for in MineSpain.
